Dr. Vijay Singh (MD, Pediatrics) Ex-Assistant Professor (AIIMS)

Dr. Vijay Singh is founder and chairperson of Avalamb foundation. He is doctor by profession, pursued MBBS from KGMU, MD from MLBMC, Neonatology from SGPGI and worked as assistant professor in Department of pediatrics, AIIMS. He had strong desire of social welfare so he resigned from the government service and formed a charitable trust by the name of Avalamb foundation with a vision and mission to support the underprivileged children for their health and education along with promotion of the Healthy lifestyle, organic farming and environmental protection by various means. He believes that children are the future of society so a change in children can change the society. He had seen many ups and downs in his life which motivated him for such a noble job. His father Late Ram Shankar Verma was a businessman who had expired by electric shock in 1994 when he was only 12 year old. After that the financial condition of his family got worsens but during that tough time his mother had taken all responsibilities and looked after the whole family by making paper bags but never compromised with the education of her children. He started to give tuition from 11 class for his studies and to support the family. After intermediate few noble people helped him in arrangement of fees for CPMT coaching. He had qualified the competition and pursued MBBS from KGMU. This small help changed his life and developed a strong thought that the education is most powerful weapon to change the future of individual and society. He believes that healthy body and mind is 1 essential need for education so as a pediatrician and neonatologist he decided to support the children for their health and education.

Dr. Udita Shekhar Singh (BDS)

Dr. Udita Shekhar Singh is vice-chairperson of the Avalamb foundation. She is a dentist by profession and a resident of the holy city Prayagraj. She believes in help and humanity that makes us different from others. Food, health, and education are basic needs for survival, happiness & development. Children & support for food, health, and education is very crucial for the upliftment of society. As human beings, it’s our utmost responsibility to not only think about ourselves but also to care about our environment and nature, which provide us all the resources necessary for survival and healthy life. These ideas motivated her for social welfare and to take initiatives for sustainable development. She has a very crucial role in the establishment of the Avalamb foundation. The various programs of the foundation are scheduled and executed under her supervision.

Dr. Saurabh Singh (D.Ch, MD) SR (KGMU)

Dr. Saurabh Singh is one of the founder member and joint secretary of Avalamb foundation. He is a doctor by profession, pursued MBBS from a holy city Prayagraj (MLNMC), DCh from a historical city Jhansi (MLBMC), MD in Anaesthesiology & critical care from Lucknow (KGMU), and currently working as senior resident in the Department of Anaesthesia, KGMU. He saw the weaker sections of society very closely during his study in government medical colleges of different cities. He always has a desire to help the underprivileged section of society and to promote the environmental protection by various means.

Dr. Dev Kumar Verma (Ph.D.)

Dev Kumar Verma is one of the founder trustees of Avalamb foundation. He is doctorate, pursued Ph.D. from Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Presently he is working as post-doc Research Associate in the National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow (Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi). He has strong desire of social welfare so joined this foundation with a mission to support the deprived children.

Mr. Alok Kumar (Senior Auditor)

Mr. Alok kumar is one of the founder member and secretary of Avalamb foundation. He is working as senior auditor in defence accounts department since 2011. He thinks that as being a part of the society it’s our duty to do something for growth of the weaker sections of the society, mainly in the field of health, education and environment which are the most important issues for the sustainable development of the society.

Mr. Kaustukey Tripathi (M. Tech)

Mr. Kaustukey Tripathi is one of the founder members of Avalamb foundation. He was born in Tanda, a small town of Ambedkar Nagar and brought up in a middle class family. He has done B. Tech (Electrical) from Thapar University, Patiala and joined Reliance infra Ltd. He worked in various projects at many locations and took voluntary retirement in 2017, working as senior manager in Bombay head office. He realized the source of real happiness is ours thoughts and health is real wealth so for a simple and healthy life he moved to his village and chooses one of the oldest professions – “Natural farming”.

Mr. Mandeep Kumar Verma (Assistant Accounts Officer)

Mr. Mandeep Kumar Verma is one of the founder members of Avalamb foundation. He brought up in a lower middle class farmer family. He studied in government school and completed graduation from Lucknow University. Currently he is working as senior accountant in Indian Audit and Accounts Department since 2013. Being from a lower middle class family, he closely realised the importance of education for a better tomorrow which always motivate him to help the underprivileged children for the education. He also believes that as responsible citizens of society, it is our duty that we work for the betterment of society and environment.

Mr. Uma Shankar Verma

Mr. Uma Shankar Verma is one of the founder members of Avalamb foundation. He is living in a small village of Sitapur district named Mahimapur. He studied in government school and completed graduation from Lucknow University. He pursued BTC and appointed as a teacher in basic education department. Being from a rural background, he closely watched the ground level reality and problems of the weaker section of rural population which developed a spirit of help inside him. He observed that the health and education are major issues in rural areas and also the basic need of every child. Avalamb foundation is providing an opportunity to realize his thoughts.
